PACTT member qualifies as Travel Trainer
Jenny is already training fellow Peer Advocates
MOWLL PACTT team member Jenny Robinson has completed a Level 2 NOCN Train the Trainer course to become a fully qualified Independent Travel Trainer!
Independent Travel Training is given to Self Advocates at MOWLL who have joined the Jigsaw Programme or a Keys 4 short course and would like to gain confidence and experience in using public transport.
MOWLL Project Worker Laura Monaghan also undertook the 30 hour training course, which was provided by Transform (in the Community) CIC. The qualification is for people who are working with vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities.
Having the knowledge and confidence to use public transport can completely transform lives and greatly increases independence and personal freedom, as well as helping people to save money.
Independent travel means freedom and opportunity
Jenny is already delivering Independent Travel Training to a friend and fellow Peer Advocate within the PACTT team.
