PACTT - Peer Advocacy Changing Things Together!
PACTT is a team of volunteers and paid staff who support “Self Advocates” in MOWLL and in their own communities. All PACTT members have come through our Jigsaw or Keys4 projects and understand the challenges faced by Self Advocates in accessing opportunities. The PACTT peer advocates have supported self advocates in many activities including:

To do this, PACTT have training to give the best support. Training has included:
- Advocacy
- Safeguarding adults and children

- Graphics
- Mental Health
- Manual Handling
- Direct payments
- Personalisation
- Recruitment and selection
- Drug addiction
- First Aid
- Deaf awareness
- Sexual health and wellbeing

PACTT Successes and achievements
- In 2010 one of our peer advocates and the PACTT Team Leader, Terry Kelly, became a paid member of staff at MOWLL. He is also co–chair of the Liverpool Learning Disability Making It Happen Partnership
- PACTT got support from Access to Volunteering in 2010
- Members of PACTT completed an Adult Learning programme at the Chamber of Commerce in Liverpool in February 2011
- A PACTT Peer Advocate completed training in graphics in March 2011
- Members of PACTT supported consultation events in Liverpool led by Liverpool City Council
- A PACTT member completed a Level 2 NOCN Train the Trainer course in August 2011 to become a qualified Travel Trainer
