Keys 4 Independence is for young people aged 16-25 with the label of a learning disability in Liverpool. The course is FREE and runs one day a week for 10 weeks. The aim of the course is to support young people in accessing practical skills needed in the workplace. Key4 Independence supports individuals in a creative and accessible way.
Keys4 Independence looks at:
Role play - telephone skills
- Accessible CVs
- IT skills
- Presentation skills
- Telephone and communication skills
- Job searches and form filling
- Provides volunteering opportunities
- Seeks opportunities for apprenticeships and internships
- Provides inspriational contact with positive role models
