Jigsaw Member wins prestigious award!
Members of MOWLL attended a prestigious awards ceremony on the evening of Tuesday 28th June at the Liverpool FC stadium. The Apprenticeship and NVQ Awards Ceremony was generously hosted by Liverpool Chamber of Commerce in the Trophy Room at Anfield to recognise educational achievement in individuals and local organisations.
Richard Billingsley, one of MOWLL's Self Advocates on the Jigsaw programme, was awarded the special "Skills for Life Achiever of the Year" award! Richard's friends from MOWLL were there to see him receive his award from Carole Crosby, Deputy Chief Executive of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce (pictured, with Richard). Everyone at MOWLL is very proud of Richard's achievement!

MOWLL Project Worker Laura Monaghan said "This ceremony is a great opportunity for our Self Advocates to reflect on how far they have come and to get together to celebrate their achievements!". The Ceremony was hosted by Radio City's Rick Vaughan and guests were treated to a buffet and entertainment from renowned local dance academy Millington's.
Well done Richard and all our fantastic Jigsaw members!
